Tavannes produced the first Divers Water proof watch in 1917. Produced at the request of the British Royal Navy, this Divers Watch was produced way before other brands produced a water proof divers watch, and was known as the Submarine Commander. To commemorate the 100th year anniversary of the first divers watch, Tavannes presented the SUBMARINE COMMANDER Limited Edition of 100 pieces. It is a 41mm, stainless steel case, with a Swiss  automatic movement, and date indicator. The stainless steel case back is etched with  an image of a submarine and 1917-2017, along with the limited edition number of the watch. It is available on a sporty black with red accents Nato strap.
